Rick Simpson is a retired Canadian Engineer who sustained a severe head injury at work that caused severe tinnitus (ringing of the ears) so bad that none of the medications he was on was helping. Simpson had seen a documentary about the healing powers of Marijuana and decided to try the medicine even when the doctors would not prescribe it to him. It worked!!! Five years later he developed three spots that turned out to be basal cell carcinoma. He succesfully treated them when he applied the cannabis oil directly onto the affected areas.
Simspon then went on to grow and supply medicinal cannabis oil to over 5000 cancer patients and taught others his simple methods of extracting all cannabinoids in what would come to be known as Rick Simpson Oil or RSO. He is a dedicated MMJ advocate and travels around the world spreading the healing powers of this truly beautiful and remarkable plant.
