Dosing 101: No one is the expert but YOU!!
Who knows your body better than you do? Dosing is ALL about YOU! There are many points of view on the internet about how to dose full extract hemp oil like we use in our CBD RSO products. Here’s a super simple guide that is closer to the truth in our experience.
KNOW YOURSELF!
When taking CBD RSO and FECO (Full Extract Cannabis Oil) you first need to determine YOUR tolerance. A lot of people believe that the correct dose can be measured by a simple formula based on your weight. However there is a lot more to it than that. Every person's metabolism and body react to different chemicals differently. That is why it is important to take control and take an involved hands on approach to figuring out the dose that works for you.
Are you a:
-Newbie to the whole cannabis, hemp and CBD world?
-Experienced user?
Newbie:
you should start small and slow and wait about 30 minutes or so to see how it affects your body. If this dose appears to do very little or nothing, take another dose of the relative same size or smaller. Continue this process until you have achieved the desired affect. Please take the time to learn your tolerances!
Experienced:
If you are EXPERIENCED, you can still start low and that is always a safe option to implement when trying any new hemp or cannabis product. If you decide to go with a higher dose, use your past experiences and intuition as a guide!
Dosing:
The actual process of taking the oil is done (generally) by using a dropper. A full dropper (or dram) from a 1 oz bottle is usually around 1ml volume. Take about this size (or less) and apply it under your tongue (sublingual) and hold the liquid there for about 30 seconds. At this time (with Lebeau and Joe's products) it is perfectly safe to swallow and ingest. That's all there is to it!
